The Vail Valley real estate market is going strong as inventory stays low throughout all sectors of the market including primary and second homes. But, even with low supply and somewhat high demand, properties are not necessarily selling quickly. In many cases, sellers, after hearing the news about the lower inventory, are overpricing their homes hoping to benefit from market conditions. But buyers are wise (particularly our buyers!) and will not rush to buy a property that is overpriced. So a word to the wise: when listing your home, make sure you are careful not to over inflate the value of your home and allow your EV Broker to give you an honest price opinion.
