Vail Valley Market Report - June 2018

According to Land Title Guarantee in Vail:

Eagle County has 1,000 transactions year-to-date in 2018 and over $1 billion in total dollar volume. These are the most transactions through the first 6-month period since 2007, at which time there were 1,431 transactions year-to-date.

The high-end market continues to show strength with another 5 sales in properties listed at over $5M. The highest sale was located in The Chateau selling for $13.4M. This brings the total number of sales over $5M to 31 year-to-date. As a comparison, in this category there were 45 sales throughout all of 2017.
Riva Ridge North had the highest price per square foot sale in June at $2,266.

Gypsum and Eagle were the areas, once again, that had the highest number of transactions with 26 and 25 respectively. Avon had 22 sales and they averaged over $600k. Eagle-Vail followed with 15 transactions.

New construction sales were a big contributor to the bottom line in June with 20 transactions totaling nearly $26M. The highest priced new construction sale was in The Lion selling for $6.7M.
